Every Day Without Data
Is a Day We Gamble
With Their Lives.

This dog is waiting. Without real-time behavioral monitoring, the staff walking in tomorrow won't know what happened in here tonight.

Our Mission Is Personal

Argos was not born in a boardroom. It was born from a deep personal understanding of what it means to watch the animals you love and know that the system wasn't built to see them clearly. As a Pit Mom to three rescued littermates, I know firsthand that the most labeled dogs are often the ones who need the most objective advocates.

We built Argos to be the ultimate advocate — the constant, watchful eye that sees every moment the staff cannot. This is not just technology. It is a legacy of turning fear into a safety net for the entire animal welfare community.

Unreliable

Current shelter behavioral assessments can shift dramatically between evaluations just 3 days apart — enough to change a dog's outcome.

+15%

The Industry Is Asking for Exactly This.

Animal welfare professionals are independently arriving at the same conclusion — the solution to shelter bites is real-time monitoring and early warning systems.

Behavioral monitoring needs to happen before an incident occurs — not as a reaction to one. By the time there's a bite, critical behavioral data that could have informed placement decisions has already been lost.

Shelter cameras have become one of the most valuable tools for post-bite behavioral assessments. Having recorded behavioral context changes everything — what staff observed, what triggered the response, and what the animal was communicating that no one caught in real time.

Built for the Kennel Floor. Not the Boardroom.

The High-Stakes Reality of the Kennel Floor

In the high-pressure environment of animal welfare, staff are asked to make life-altering decisions based on subjective notes or gut feeling. This information gap is not just an administrative hurdle — it is a direct risk to human safety and animal lives.

When a handler enters a kennel without knowing a dog's behavior history over the last 24 hours, they are walking into an avoidable unknown. Argos was built to bridge this gap.

Clearing the Path So the Expert Can Shine

True innovation does not replace the expert — it clears the path so the expert can shine. The goal of Argos is to eliminate the administrative burden and burnout that drains the life out of shelter organizations.

When we automate the data collection process, we save shelters thousands of dollars by shortening the Length of Stay and increasing the accuracy of every adoption match.

Rehabilitation Stalled by Inconsistency — Not Anymore

For too long, rehabilitation has been stalled by inconsistent observation and the exhaustion of overworked teams. Argos provides a consistent, 24/7 behavioral baseline that identifies triggers and stressors before a human even steps into the frame.

From Intake to Adoption — Faster

Every day a dog spends in a kennel costs the shelter money, space, and resources that could save another life. Argos dramatically shortens the intake-to-adoption timeline by providing objective behavioral data that accelerates matching and eliminates unnecessary holds.

More accurate data. Faster decisions. More dogs saved.

The Whole Movie. Not Just the Snapshot.

Computer Vision + Posture Monitoring

Real-time video analysis trained for shelter and kennel environments. Reads posture, body language, micro-expressions, and movement patterns continuously — detecting escalation before it happens.

Individual Animal Recognition

Facial and body ID identifies each animal individually, building a unique behavioral history over time. Argos knows this dog — not just any dog — and tracks their patterns from day one.

Thermal + Acoustic Analysis

Thermal imaging detects physiological stress markers invisible to the human eye. Acoustic analysis classifies vocalizations — and feeds that data back to train the visual model over time. The system gets smarter with every dog.

Tiered Alert System

Four escalation levels — from passive behavioral log to urgent staff intervention alert — sent directly to staff devices in real time. The right person gets the right information at the right moment.

The Environments We Serve

From large municipal shelters to boutique boarding facilities — Argos works where dogs live.

If You Know This Technology Is Needed — Say So.

This is a space for animal care professionals, advocates, and dog lovers who understand that real-time behavioral AI in shelters is not a luxury — it's a lifeline. Your voice validates the mission.

The Mission Is Real. Is It Needed? You Tell Us.

We're building technology that reads what dogs can't say — stress, fear, escalating aggression — before it becomes a bite, an injury, or a life-ending label. If you've worked in a shelter, run a boarding facility, trained dogs, or simply love them, you know the gap is real. Leave your voice below.

The Dogs Who Started
All of This

Gurrlie, Mr. Bigs, and Mr. Dude aren't mascots. They're the reason Argos AI exists. Three rescued pit-mix littermates who turned one mom's obsession into a mission to protect every dog that can't speak for itself.

Follow their stories — the real ones, the messy ones, the ones that matter.

Three Dogs.
One Mission.

Gurrlie, Mr. Bigs, and Mr. Dude are rescued pit-mix littermates. When they started showing escape behavior that Kristi couldn't explain, she taught herself AI and computer vision to understand what they were trying to tell her. That obsession became Argos AI — real-time behavioral monitoring that gives every dog in a shelter or care facility a voice that actually gets heard.

The technology exists because these three exist. And every dog Argos protects is a dog like them.
